Biography
Andrew received his undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Superior after graduating from Lakeland Union High School in Minocqua. Andrew graduated summa cum laude as a student athlete at Superior, playing four years of men's college basketball for the UWS Yellowjackets. Andrew received his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. At the University of Minnesota Law School, Andrew worked as a certified student attorney in the Business Law Clinic, Employment Law Clinic, and at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, where he advocated for underserved individuals in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area. Andrew also served as judicial extern for the Hon. Becky R. Thorson (ret.) of the U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota. Andrew is admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin, the Lac Du Flambeau Tribal Court, and he is admitted as a guardian ad litem in the Forest County Potawatomi Tribal Court. Andrew serves as the current treasurer for the Oneida-Vilas-Forest County Bar Association. At Melms, Hogan and Francois, Andrew focuses his practice on criminal, civil litigation, real estate, Native American tribal law, family, and guardian ad litem work.
